Fabrics and Accessories

The fabrics commonly used by us and their characteristics are set our below

Coolmesh
We use coolmesh for our cycle jerseys and run shirts. Coolmesh fabric is specially knitted with a micromesh filament polyester. This assists in expelling heat and sweat away from the body to help keep the athlete cool and dry. The fabric also has a hydrophyllic treatment to further enhance the natural characteristics of the fabric so that it efficiently wicks moisture from the body. The fabric breathes well and is light weight (165gsm) The fabric has a soft silky feel with a UV Protection of 50+.

Sunpaque Power Lycra
We use 275gsm sunpaque for our swim range and white Nicks. Sunpaque Power Lycra is a revolutionary sports material featuring a high-density ceramic in the core of the polyester filament. Sunpaque retains its opacity when wet and the garment is therefore less see-through than other equivalent weight fabrics. The fabric offers UV protection of 50+. Sunpaque has a soft silky feel. Sunpaque is a trademark of the Asahi Kasei Corporation.

Lycra
We use Italian Lycra for our Nicks and Triathlon wear. The lycra is durable and has great stretch and retention. This provides great fit and comfort and extra strength. It has 4 times more chlorine resistance than normal elastane and offers UV protection of 50+.

Dolimiti
An innovative bi-elastic techno fabric with LYCRA® developed for cycling, running, fitness and high-performance sportswear in general. Soft, comfortable and with a pleasant hand feel, Dolimiti offers excellent benefits in terms of breathability, high resistance to pilling and abrasion as well as an exclusive anti-bacterial treatment that blocks the proliferation of bacteria. Dolimiti is 250gsm comprising 85% Polyester 15% Elastane. It offers the maximum protection against UV rays (50+).

Chamois (Cycling Pad)
When cycling pads provide optimal comfort and fit, then you will want to wear them. The best cycling pad is the one that achieves the correct balance between comfort and functionality for your style of cycling. Comfort requires protection and resistance against impacts. Functionality requires breathabilty, moisture management and body temperature management. Finding the right balance between comfort and functionality is also based on developing the optimal form and then using quality foams and coverings.

Proflex Chamois
This is our more expensive cycling pad. The blue proflex pad promotes a perfect fit thanks to its 4 way stretch. This high tech product offers the following properties:
